Easter Fun and Spring Flowers – Sunday 31st March and Monday 1st April 2024

WE ARE OPEN ON GOOD FRIDAY TOO BUT NO EASTER EGG HUNTS UNTIL EASTER SUNDAY!

Come and join the fun in the beautiful grounds and gardens of Hartland Abbey over Easter. All the beautiful spring flowers – daffodils and narcissi, our stunning camellias and early bulbs and shrubs – should be out with primroses and violets flowering in the woodlands. Children and families will have a wonderful time searching all the woodland paths and walks for clues that will lead them to a hidden treasure trove of Easter Eggs or Bunnies. Dogs are extremely welcome provided they don’t eat the eggs! Explore all the winding paths leading to the Walled Gardens, woodland summerhouse, gazebo overlooking the Atlantic ocean at Blackpool Mill – there is lots of walking for the energetic and dogs! 

The spring flowers should be looking wonderful, making Easter Sunday and Monday a special day out for adults and children alike. The house will be open from 2-5pm  at an extra charge. Enjoy the house and grounds which star as Enid Blyton’s ‘Malory Towers’ filmed here for CBBC.  amongst many other productions. Entry to our Film Exhibition and other exhibits is included in the Gardens ticket.

Grounds open 11am-5pm.

Adults £12 – special price for grounds and gardens, All children over 2 (or under 2 if wanting to do Easter Egg Hunt) £5, Admission to house and gardens £14.50. NB **We do not accept loyalty cards and membership cards eg. HH, CPRE, Gardeners World etc on Special Event Days**
